Netbooks have been available for quite some time and most entry-level netbooks also utilize the Intel Atom processor which allows for lower power consumption which would then result to longer battery hours but at the same time sacrifice performance as well. That is why most netbooks are meant to be used lightly as most often than not, they are incapable of doing mid-range to high-performance tasks as well. However, a lot of people do like netbooks as these are a cheaper alternative to laptops and it is highly portable as well.

The Samsung NP-N102-JA01DX netbook weighing only 1.03 kg, is anything but heavy. In addition to that, it can also be considered thin as well with its maximum thickness of only 34.7mm. It isn’t as thin as the MacBook Air but it sure gives portability to the user nonetheless.  The screen is 10.1″ and uses Samsung’s SuperBright technology.  This size may not be satisfying for some but those that don’t use laptops too often may find it sufficient for handling normal tasks.
